Join us for Studio Grand's Balkan Nights, an evening which features (not-so-strictly) Eastern European music. This series occurs on the third Friday of the month, so mark your calendar! The night is graciously curated by Kent Kessinger in association with Studio Grand. Come join us for an evening of Greek-influenced music with an early acoustic set by the Disciples of Markos, followed by duo Aya & Tano.
AYA AND TANO
Aya and Tano is a Bay Area based duo of young musicians that performs traditional Albanian and Greek music. They started building their repertoire together during their travels through Eastern Europe in 2015. Aya sings and plays violin, santouri, and laouto, and Tano sings and plays saxophone, clarinet, and laouto.
DISCIPLES OF MARKOS

Dave Murray - bouzouki, guitar
Darcy Noonan - guitar, violin, vocals
Gregory Masaki Jenkins - lead vocals, baglama
