Orchestra Euphonos plays Amnesia Bar for a FREE early show on Sunday, April 9th. Join us as we feature vocalist Samantha Shokin in her last performance in SF before she relocates to NYC. This show will also feature bandleader Peter Bonos on trumpet with Zina Pozen (accordion), Ivan Velev (tapan), Travis Hendrix on bass, multi-instrumentalist Jack Hanley (percussion and mandolin) and guitarist extraordinaire, Yagiz Sen! We welcome to the stage special guests Joey Friedman and Greg Jenkins on saxophones and clarinets.

Rejuvinating the popular and traditional music of Bessarabia, Ukraine, and Romania, Orchestra Euphonos plays songs with lyrics sung in Yiddish, Romani and Slavic languages, for a unique blend of Klezmer and Balkan music.
