Among the Bay Area’s bustling music scene is Mexican singer-guitarist-social justice activist Diana Gameros. Her latest album “Arrullo” was just named one of the top albums of 2017 by NPR Alt. Latino and was released to critical acclaim. “Diana Gameros’ steady fingerpicking and elegantly simple melody create a calm within the storm, a safe place for big questions and long-ailing wounds that transcend any news cycle. Her voice has a remarkable expressive range. She’s at once strong and breathy — in an instant, wounded and boldly searching.“— NPR

Ezgi Kurt: Istanbul-born and Bay area-based, Ezgi Kurt is a tremendous listener, singer and economist. Her background contains an immense mixture of styles, from world music to folk to jazz. Her primary focus is melting down all of the music genres of the world and reforming them by marvelous bridges of improvisational techniques. Her biggest passion are improvisation and the modal systems, which she finds are the most powerful and exquisite elements in world music.

Kata Miletich - Kata is a lyricist, vocalist and cofounder of Oakland based band LoCura. For the past 13 years Kata has been immersed in the fertile Bay Area music scene collaborating and recording with local artists Bang Data, Inspector Gadje, DJ Izzywise & La Misa Negra as well as being an integral member of Bay Area musical collective Istanbul Connection. Reflecting her own experience of growing up Spanish-American in Spain, Italy and California, her lyrics ride the borders of identity and migration piecing together a mosaic of our myriad cultures and experiences.

Versoul - Formerly known as Babii Cris, Versoul is a 23 year old independent hip hop artist, producer and beat maker from San Francisco. She delivers a distinct and unclassified sound influenced by hip hop, rap, rhythm and blues, and alternative rock, and has been making waves with her debut album, which comes out later this year.
