After a long summer hiatus, Balkan Sundays is back! We'll be at Muddy Waters on 2nd Sundays and Ashkenaz on 4th Sundays (starting in October). This coming Balkan Sundays on October 11th will feature Duygu and Friends with a Turkish music jam session that the band will lead. Come one come all to play some of your favorite Turkish repertoire. The first half of the evening will feature Duygu and Friends then the 2nd half will be opened up as a jam session. As always, it's free. All we ask is that you support the venue by buying some of their delicious food and beverages and it's always suggested to tip the band. That's how we keep cover free events happening. See you there!

Duygu & Friends covers folk songs from Anatolia and the broader Mediterranean, spanning multiple languages and musical traditions. Joining Duygu Gün on guitar and vocals are Peter Bonos on oud and trumpet, Evin Sellin on violin, Zina Pozen on accordion, and Aaron Goldstein on percussion.
